Making Tax Digestible

Select the right options now for the health of your business and ensure the new rules are easier to swallow.

From 1st April 2019, HMRC are taking detailed quarterly VAT reporting online in its latest bite size portion of making tax digital. Paper records will no longer meet the legal requirement. In the way traffic light labelling on food encourages healthy choices, HMRC have been nudging businesses towards taking their tax affairs online with digital tax accounts and real time payroll reporting already in place.

Making tax digital. We are here to help

APS Accountancy are here to help you understand what the new VAT reporting rules are and whether any of the exemptions might be applicable. If MTD is unavoidable, our APS Accountancy experts will help you decide on the best solution for your business.

• about your current VAT reporting and bookkeeping set up
• how making tax digital will affect you, and,
• your options for compliance.

There are a series of practical solutions available to you and your business, which we will discuss with you at our open day.

APS Accountancy will be demonstrating various bookkeeping software, so you touch and feel the way the industry is heading. With useful hints and tips and value add benefits, you can turn the potential burden of learning new software into something positive; helping to support you managing your business finances.

Later in the day we are offering the first of our series of group software training; starting with quickbooks online (QBO).

Software training will be the theme of March, giving you the chance to get to grips with your bookkeeping, if you wish to continue this yourself.
